10 jours pour aller !
I am very excited about starting the super challenge! I’m so busy with my real life studies right now, but all I can think about is my quest to learn French!
I’ve decided that I will be buying assimil to help learn, but I haven’t yet done so. I’ve heard many good things about the program and I am eager to try it.
I’ve also decided to do the 6 Week Challenge, seeing as I will already be working on French anyway. Whether I have the time to do so is another matter all together.
and back to the real world I go!

I’m also doing the 6WC for French! I don’t know how I’ll manage to get through that plus what I have planned for Turkish, but I’m looking forward to the challenge.

Oh yes, the time is just dragging on! Good work for doing the two! Yikes! I haven’t even thought about how I’d manage to take on another language, but I’m still new at this language thing. Have you done much french before? That said, the 6WC is 6 weeks out of 87 or so!

I’ve been studying for about…*counting*… it will be two years in August. I’m hoping the 6WC will push me over the border into B2. I’ll be giving it all I’ve got for the 6WC-French so I’ll be slow getting out the starting gate for the SC-Turkish! I see you’re doing HP — is it the first one? I really enjoyed the first one.

Yes, it will be the first one. I believe I’m not quite ready to do it, being A1 or below so I won’t start off with it, but I’ll introduce it earlier than I should. If it is difficult but I manage it can only be good… Right?
It sounds like you’re going to do well too!

Thanks, I hope I’ll do well, I have a bad habit of not finishing stuff! ^^ I started reading HP as a beginner and I logged my progress here http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=17696 (sorry about the long link). It was a lot of fun, but it was difficult and I only finished half (I didn’t have anything to push me into finishing it!) I finished the book some months later.

Oh that sounds interesting. I had a quick look at the link and I really liked the idea of what you were doing. it must be interesting to compare the different language versions!
